Rolwaling Himal
Buried between steep ice giants, the Rolwaling Valley is
reputed to be the home of the infamous Yeti. We approach
the valley through the charming terraced foothills of
Tamang and Chetri villages. Once beneath the sacred
Gauri Shankar we climb through primeval forests to the
Tsho Rolpa Lake. The northern flank of Pachermo, which
rises above us, provides the route over the Tashi Labtsa
(5755m) into the Everest region.

Rolwaling Valley is the east-west
valley below Mt. Gaurishankar (7145m) and just south
from the Tibetan boarder. This is totally isolated and
culturally diverse area. This is a restricted area but
trekking trip can be taken to the area obtaining a
climbing permit for one of the trekking peak of this
area such as for Ramdung peak. The area is just south
from the Tibetan boarder so it is more like Tibetan
culture are here. The area contain of cultural and
isolated village, glacier lakes and so on |

Trek In Detail |
Day 01 :
Arrival at Kathmandu Height : 1300m.
Meat with our reprehensive and transfer to Hotel
over night. |
Day 02 :
Kathmandu. Height : 1300m.
Halfway sight seen around Kathmandu valley. Over
night at hotel. |
Day 03 :
Kathmandu Chautara- Aam Pipal Height : 1418m
Drive 4 hrs to Chautara along the Araniko
highway road to Tibet and after Dulal Ghat drive
to north to Chautara and trek 2 hrs to AamPipal.
Over night at camp. |
Day 04 :
Aam Pipal - Okhren Height : 2052m. |
Day 05 :
Okhreni- Bhadramali Danda Height : 3162m. |
Day 06 :
Bhadramali Danda - Panikuwa Height : 3800m. |
Day 07 :
Panikuwa- Nasem Pati Height : 3862m. |
Day 08 :
Nasem Pati-Panch Pokhari Height : 4462m. |
Day 09 :
Panch Pokhari Height : 4462 m.
Excursion of the panch Pokhari Lake, camp. Five
holy lakes around. There is two mettle roofed
huts, a sheet metal-enclosed shrine to Shiva and
a pile of cast-iron and copper tridents. During
the July/September at the Janaipurnima (Full
moon day) thousands of Nepalese come to worship.
From here if some body want really adventure
cross the Langsisa pass and come out to Lang
tang valley. |
Day 10 :
Panch Pokhari- Hutanbrang. Height : 2200m. |
Day 11 :
Hutanbrang- Yangri Height : 1500m. |
Day 12 :
Yangri- Gangkharka Height : 1788m. |
Day 13 :
Gangkharka - Tarkheghyang Height : 2560m. |
Day 14 :
Tarkheghyang - Tharepati pass or towards
Kathmandu. Height : 3597m. |
Day 15 :
Tharepati pass Kutumsang Height : 2470m. |
Day 16 :
Kutumsang-Chissapani Height : 2190m. |
Day 17 :
Chisapani Sundarijal - Kathmandu Height :
1300m.
A short trek 3 hrs and drive 1½will bring you to
Kathmandu. |
