Annapurna Panorama Trek

Annapurna Panorama Trek is a small Annapurna Circuit and it is very popular holidays in Nepal. The bravura mountain scenery and the beautiful ethnic villages validate the popularity of Ghorepani. This trek offers fabulous sunrise and sunset views in the Himalayas, surrounding rice terraces, and splendid panoramic views including Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m, Annapurna I 8091m, Fishtail / Machhapuchhre 6998m, Nilgiri 7041m, Annapurna south 7219m, Annapurna II 7939m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Lamjung Himal 6988m, Hiunchuli 6441m, Tukuche peak 6920m and more.

Annapurna Panorama Trek is short and easy trekking route in Annapurna region, which can be done within 1 week or less depend on your time schedule. Trek start from North of Pokhara, after one hour scenic drive to Nayapool, and ends at same place making small Poon Hill circuit. During our walk, we will enjoy spectacular mountain scenery through charming villages inhabited by the Gurungs, dense rhododendron forests full of birds, deep subtropical valleys and beautiful landscape.

Itinerary in Details

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu.
You are welcomed by hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to hotel. Our airport representative will explain briefly the program upon arrival. Overnight at Hotel. B&B

Day 02: Trek preparation and Kathmandu Valley Sihgtseeing tour.
Sightseeing of world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley including, Kathmandu Darbar square, Swayambhunath Temple , Boudhanath Stupa & Pashupatinath Temple. Overnight at Hotel. B&B

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m) 6 hours.
After you breakfast at your hotel about 8 o’clock in the morning, then scenic drive to Pokhara via Prithivi Highway Approximately 6 hours. While driving we will have great chances to observe the rural people & various culture on the highway. Overnight at Hotel. B.L.D

Day 04: Drive Naya Pul (New bridge), to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m) 4 hrs.
After breakfast at around 07:30 hrs drive to Naya Pul (42km) by car/taxi via the large village of Lumle and walk for about 20 minutes to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town. The trail follows the main street of Birethanti, going through bamboo forests and past a large waterfall and swimming hole. Beyond a pasture used by pony caravans, the trail reaches Ramghai where you have lunch. After lunch, climbs gradually up the side of the valley, reaching at Tikhe Dhunga. Overnight at Guest House. Day 05: Tikhe Dhunga to Ghorepani (2850m) 6 hrs.
From Tikhe Dhunga the trail crosses a stream on a suspension bridge near the camp site at Tikhe Dhunga. The trail ascends a steep stone staircase (which has about 3300 steps) to the large Magar village Ulleri at 2080m. Above the village, the trail climbs gently through pastures and cultivated fields. There is a camp site for a rest and water stop one hour’s walk above Ulleri. The trail crosses two sparkling streams before making a short, final climb to Nangethanti where we stop for lunch. Thanti is a Nepali word meaning "rest house”. In the winter the trail can be covered with snow. From Nangethanti climb to Ghorepani at 2750m, from here we can see the spectacular panorama of Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Tukuche Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Tarke Kang (7193m). Day 06: Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3180m) & Trek to Tadapani (2520m) 6-7 hrs.
An early starts hike to Poon Hill (3195m) leads to a brilliant spectacle an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. After spending about 40 minutes there, descend to Ghorepani for breakfast and we beging our to Tadapani, the trail leads along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960m). Then descend to Banthanti, where we will have lunch then leading to Tadapani. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 07: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1950m) 3-4 hrs.
The Ghandruk trail descends steeply through forests to the village of Ghandruk where we will arrive around noon. We will overnight here so have the afternoon to visit the Annapurna conservation office and museum. As well as take time to explore this maze like village (3 hrs). Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 08: Ghandruk to Pokhara (910m) 5 hrs.
Today we descend from Ghandruk seuli Bazar & meet a flat trail along the Modi Khola, eventually we will make a circuit when we got Birethanti then we will have lunch at Birethanti, the place is very famous for fresh fish, trek continue towards Nayapul & drive to Pokhara by Taxi/Van. Overnight at Hotel. B.L.D.

Day 09: Scenic drive to Kathmandu (1337) 6 hrs. Overnight at Hotel. B&B

Day 10: Transfer to Airport for your onward Journey."Farewell"
